Almost 20 years ago, I purchased my first brick-and-mortar studio and found myself frustrated and overwhelmed, working too hard on things that didn’t really move the needle in my business.

Pretty quickly I closed those doors and moved to a new location that I built-out from scratch, and oh goodness, that was far more challenging than I expected. Getting open was tough, and every small step forward was met by a couple of larger steps backwards.

I opened two more locations in subsequent years, and I used each new studio as an opportunity to refine my vision and my brand so that every move was strategic and had a reason beyond just looking pretty. I got creative. I built repeatable systems. I took action. And by the time the 4th location opened, the Grand Opening celebration was a five-figure day with over 100 people enjoying a yoga class, or two.

My studio ownership days are behind me now. I’ve had the honor of helping other yoga studio owners and entrepreneurs like you skip over years of struggle and opening thriving studios that are changing their communities.
